ATP evokes responses in reproducible populations of cells
The video shows a field of native endothelial cells (mesenteric artery) loaded with a fluorescence calcium indicator. In the same artery, endothelial calcium activity was stimulated by ATP on 2 separate occasion, activating a similar population of cells. Top panel: visualisation of change in fluorescence and a maximum intensity projection showing all activated cells; Middle panel: 5 randomly chosen individual cellular Ca2+ responses; Lower panel: heat plot showing the Ca2+ activity of all cells in the field of view. Each line represents an individual cell.
