cIP evokes reproducible, outwardly propagating endothelial Ca waves
En face mesenteric artery preparation stained with Cal-520/AM (5 µM, grey) and cIP (5 μM). Ca activity was stimulated by localized photolysis of cIP (yellow circle) after a baseline recording (10 Hz; baseline cut short for the purpose of video). The resulting Ca activity is visualized in green (repeat 1) and purple (repeat 2, taken 15 mins after repeat 1 in the same preparation).
